Across the board we find organizations from small groups to large companies that have a strong commitment to their mission, yet face challenges developing clear strategies, accessing available resources, and fully tapping into the passion and potential of their team. My experience of over twenty years in nonprofit leadership, organizational development, human resources, and advocacy work has taught me valuable lessons that combine with my spiritual foundation to inform my coaching.
A common paradox exists in organizations in which the people have a strong devotion to the mission: On one hand, people are acutely enmeshed, with little separation between their work and home lives; on the other hand there is near-complete detachment from the nourishing and vitalizing aspects of themselves when they put their "work hat" on. It is this paradox that often leads to burnout, inefficiency, wasted and untapped resources, and an overall loss of joy.
My transformational coaching approach comes from my experience that organizations and the people they comprise can only reach their peak potential when they are in alignment with their core values and accessing their inner and external resources.
